D'Urville Island's

Vital Link - Barge and Transport Service

Kapowai Bay

D’Urville Island is New Zealand’s 6th largest Island.  There are over 60 kilometers of public roads transversing D’Urville Island.  Taking your vehicle on the barge will allow visitors to access the ‘tranquil’ scenes and explore the Island.  D’Urville is a favourite destination for mountain bikers, hikers, campers (DOC Camping Ground), fishers or 4 wheel and 2 wheel ‘biker’ groups.
